UK LIVING IN THE MÜNZVIERTEL
Our third hall of residence is located in the heart of the Münzviertel district, centrally located near Hamburg's main railway station. The attractive new building, with a view over the city centre, is located in a residential area that offers space for around 209 trainees. But it's not just trainees who will find a home here; the accommodation offered by neighbouring providers is also aimed at families, singles and students.
WHAT'S SPECIAL
In addition to its modern facilities, the hall of residence also boasts a particularly central location. The inner courtyard leaves nothing to be desired - the landscaped outdoor area has table tennis tables, sunbathing lawns, a barbecue area and plenty of opportunities for cosy get-togethers on warm summer days. However, if the weather turns bad, the foundation's headquarters has attractive communal rooms (approx. 250 m²) with, for example, a table football or pool table, a small cinema, comfortable sofas and a proper sound and lighting system. The common rooms are currently still being developed and are expected to be available within 2024.
OFFERS IN THE MÜNZVIERTEL
Under the premise of "support instead of supervision", trainees are also supported here in taking their first steps outside the parental home independently and on their own responsibility. Our pedagogical team offers a wide range of activities and counselling services on site. The trainees play an active role in shaping their living environment by, among other things, regularly electing their dormitory council, which has its own budget.
Our pedagogical team is on site at Azubiwerk Münzviertel for 6 days in the afternoons and evenings.
We offer our trainees the following programmes (selection):

- Challenges in operation
- Personal problems
- Sunday brunch and cookery evenings Sports activities
- Photo, garden and handicraft club
- Film and games evenings
- Celebrations
- Budget management and financial discipline
- Self-organisation and learning aids
- Art and culture on site
Azubiwerk Münzviertel is located at Norderstraße 67, close to the centre of Hamburg's main railway station.
This can be reached on foot within 5 - 7 minutes.
