LIVING IN HARBURG

Under the slogan "More than just affordable living in Harburg", the Azubiwerk Foundation's second residential home was built in 2020. The new building with a total of 4,600 square metres of living and usable space offers space for 191 trainees in 94 shared flats on 8 floors. In addition to affordable rents, residents can look forward to numerous communal areas and special features.

WHAT'S SPECIAL

Under the premise of "support instead of supervision", trainees are supported in taking their first steps outside the parental home independently and on their own responsibility. The Azubiwerk's educational team offers a wide range of activities and counselling services on site. The trainees play an active role in shaping their living environment by, among other things, regularly electing their dormitory council, which has its own budget.

Unsere Gemeinschaftsflächen bieten ein vielfältiges Angebot an Erholung und die Möglichkeit neue Freundschaften zu schließen. Dies ermöglichen wir unter Anderem durch Gemeinschaftsküchen, einen gemütlichen Lounge Bereich mit Sofas, Beamer und Soundsystem sowie durch vielfältige Freizeitgeräte ( Kicker etc.). Darüber hinaus lädt unsere großzügige Dachterrasse zum Entspannen ein.

OFFERS IN HARBURG

Our pedagogical team supports all trainees on their way to an independent life. This gives them more time to concentrate on their training. The educational programmes on offer in the building also provide the opportunity to quickly make new contacts and friendships. These include events and a wide range of counselling services. In addition, the trainees can actively participate in the organisation of the hall of residence and events in the hall of residence council.

The Azubiwerk Harburg is conveniently located at Helmsweg 30 (21073 Hamburg).

Bus routes 141 and 241 can be reached on foot within 3 minutes. The S-Harburg-Rathaus stop is also just a 7-minute walk away.
